Tham Ma Pass is a familiar check-in location, taking a photo as proof, marking a milestone for effort, courage, overcoming all challenges.
Finally, after going through so many difficulties, you will be satisfied by the beautiful scenery of the village floating in the wind. The simple tiled-roof houses, with only earthen walls, appear and disappear in the misty mist, creating a simple yet beautiful scene on Tham Ma Slope.
The name of Pao’s house comes from the movie “Pao’s Story”, which tells the story of a H’Mong girl’s journey to find her mother with the same name, which won the Golden Kite Award and became one of the tourist destinations in Ha Giang.
Pao’s house was built nearly 100 years ago, the roof is still yin-yang tiled roof, after many years it has been covered with moss, ancient. The house is designed in a U shape, in the middle there is a cool garden, coming here you seem to be immersed in the life of the years before, extremely romantic, attracting many tourists.
After passing through 150km of dangerous mountain passes, with a deep abyss on one side and a rocky mountain range on the other, the Dong Van stone plateau will gradually appear, hidden behind the misty fog.
The characteristic of this place is the stone fences – showing the man’s thoughtfulness to his family, the fences are even, the more beautiful the house is, the more solid and trustworthy the pillars are. Interspersed with that is the green of corn fields, the yellow of rice fields, full of pristine and lyrical beauty.

Located upstream of Bao Lam 3 Hydropower Plant, in the areas of Khau Vai and Lung Pu communes (Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province) and Duc Hanh commune (Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province), Phong Luu Alley always stands out for its shimmering, magical beauty.
Although the area is smaller than Tu San Alley on Nho Que 1 Hydropower Plant Reservoir and the road from Meo Vac town to here is more than 25 km, in return, Phong Luu Alley has clear blue water all year round, has a camping site and a beautiful beach that is loved by many young people.
In particular, in the middle of the narrowest part of the alley, there is a rock that stands out, where many tourists choose to stand and pose for photos or row a kayak or Sup boat, letting their souls blend with nature.
Like a stroke across the rocky plateau, the road with the M-shaped road in Ha Giang is the road from Mau Due to Lung Phin about 3km, located on the road from Yen Minh to Meo Vac, appearing beautifully and softly winding between the gray cat-ear cliffs. That stroke is so unique, making anyone who sets foot here stunned, silent before the majestic nature.
The lonely tree (lonely ironwood tree) is located on the newly opened road from Quan Ba to Yen Minh. This ironwood tree is located in Can Ty commune, Quan Ba district, near Lao Chai kindergarten. However, please note that it is not located on National Highway 4C but on the new road leading to Yen Minh town. This is also the reason why many people who come to Ha Giang for the first time will have difficulty finding this super hot check-in location.

Fairy Waterfall is located deep in the primeval forest of Windy Pass, in the administrative area of Nam Dan commune, Xin Man district, Ha Giang province. Fairy Waterfall is located in the tourist area of Fairy Waterfall – Windy Pass (recognized as a national natural heritage). The waterfall has a beauty that seems to be opposite but harmonious, both majestic and wild, and gentle and youthful.
Fairy Waterfall originates from Ta Ngan stream, Ta Cu Ty commune, Bac Ha, Lao Cai at an altitude of more than 1400m above sea level. When passing through Nam Dan commune, the waterfall drops down from a height of 70m at Windy Pass. Blending in with the majestic mountain scenery, the waterfall looks like the soft, smooth hair of a young Nung girl in her twenties.
Fairy Waterfall is also known as Doi Waterfall, Gio Waterfall because at the foot of the waterfall there is always a very strong wind blowing, causing the water vapor to float. According to the Nung ethnic language, Fairy Waterfall is also called Vang Tang Tinh, meaning water flowing from a large hole.
Thong Nguyen is the convergence of three large streams, Phin Ho, Nam Ong and Nam Khoa, forming a plain right on the mountainside. That is why many people believe that Thong Nguyen commune in Hoang Su Phi district is the place where “Mountains gather – Water gathers”. The convergence of streams, along with the annual alluvial deposits, has left Thong Nguyen a fertile land that gathers “Heaven’s time – Earth’s advantage – Human harmony”. The ancients often compared Thong Nguyen to an “open land” of a bright future.
The name Phung Village actually did not come about by chance. “Phung” in Vietnamese means meeting. Therefore, Phung Village is the place where heaven and earth meet, and visitors can also meet with majestic nature, with the people living in this area. This can also be the starting point for relationships for the local people. That is why this beautiful land is named Phung Village.
This place has an area of about 17.04 km2, most of which will be terraced fields that are cultivated and arranged in no order. Yet when they blend together, they create wonderfully beautiful combinations, especially during the ripe rice season.
Chieu Lau Thi (also known as Kieu Lieu Ti) in the local language means Nine-storey ladder. This is one of the high mountains in the Tay Con Linh range located in Tan Minh, Chien Thang villages, Ho Thau commune, Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province. Chieu Lau Thi peak is 2,402m above sea level, belongs to the Tay Con Linh range located on the Northwest arc, is the second highest mountain in Ha Giang, Tay Con Linh peak is 2,428m high, slightly higher than Chieu Lau Thi peak.
On clear, cloudless days, when the sun rises and the sunlight pours down like honey, dyeing each mountain range golden, this “Nine-story ladder” mountain has a rare, wonderful beauty with a landscape of overlapping mountains and a sea of floating clouds.
Tay Con Linh is a mountain peak considered the roof of the Northeastern mountainous region of Vietnam. Starting from the upper reaches of the Chay River, the mountain range belongs to the two districts of Hoang Su Phi and Vi Xuyen of Ha Giang province. Tay Con Linh is at an altitude of 2,419 meters with typical high mountain terrain, the foot of the mountain is tropical monsoon while the mountain top has a temperate high mountain climate. The temperature decreases with altitude, so the mountain top is always immersed in cold, fog and clouds all around.
The vegetation here is extremely diverse and rich. Multi-layered subtropical primeval forests, rare species of trees, carpets of land covered with fallen yellow leaves, birds chirping throughout the mountains and forests… These are the things that make up the beauty of Tay Con Linh, creating the attraction of this mountain covered in mist all year round.
This is also an extremely attractive destination for backpackers and tourists who are passionate about trekking high and difficult mountains in Vietnam.
